GeoPressure is a collaborative project with Raphael Nussbaumer concentrated on the development of tools for atmospheric pressure-based bird tracking.

The project leverages GeoPressureR and the GeoPressureManual to provide researchers with robust methods for reconstructing bird movements using pressure sensor data.

Our Contribution

The Digital Landscape Group’s primary contribution is the development and integration of the Earth Engine backend. We take care of fetching and processing global atmospheric data to support the trajectory reconstruction process, specifically through the GeoPressureAPI. ass
