🚀 We are a research group at the Institute for Interdisciplinary Mountain Research (IGF) in Innsbruck, Austria, part of the Austrian Academy of Sciences (ÖAW). We develop methods in remote sensing, machine learning, and geostatistics for mountain and environmental research.

- BRIDGE — AI-powered research data platform integrating heterogeneous datasets across disciplines through graph databases, semantic technologies, and large language models.
- CryoSCOPE — A multi-national project to understand the Cryosphere–Atmosphere–Hydrosphere system through data management and stakeholder-driven modeling.
- GLORIAGLO — Climate change impacts on global alpine plant diversity using the GLORIA global monitoring network.
- GeoPressure — A collaboration with Raphael Nussbaumer to integrate Earth Engine capabilities for atmospheric pressure-based bird tracking.
- GeoTransformer — A research project to revolutionize geostatistical simulation with transformer architectures.
